Founder

Kelly L. McCrea

From working in county school systems to opening her own practice in 2017, Ms. McCrea has always been interested helping her community. She saw first-hand the importance of proper estate planning for persons with disabilities after participating in the Legal Planning for Young Adults with Disabilities seminar at The Kennedy Krieger Institute.

After graduating from law school, she completed a fellowship in Special Needs Estate Planning under the guidance of Professor Angela Vallario at the University of Baltimore School of Law. In addition to working with clients on creating their estate plans, Ms. McCrea assisted with the creation of a law course on Planning for Persons with Disabilities.  This course was offered in the spring of 2017.

Ms. McCrea continued her education and completed both her MBA and the course requirements for a Certification in Estate Planning in 2018. She continues to take continuing education courses offered through the Maryland State Bar Association and other affiliations.

Since opening the firm, Ms. McCrea has volunteered with the Wills for Heroes program through the Maryland State Bar Association, Maryland Legal Aid; and Maryland Volunteer Lawyer Service to draft various estate planning documents for those in need.
